Actress Suhasini Maniratnam, who has been known for playing strong female characters on screen, has been of late playing supporting roles in movies in multiple languages. Now, the actress has revealed what she's been doing in the lockdown.

As the nation is stuck due to Coronavirus lockdown, Suhasini, who has previously directed the movie Indra starring Anu Haasan has returned to direction by making a short film named Chinnanjiru Kiliye.

Revealing this news on Instagram, Suhasini has said that it'll be a 20 minutes shortfilm which will be releasing soon, and this first lockdown story from her was shot completely on iphone and will star Ahana Krishna, Charuhaasan and Suhasini herself. Chinnanjiru kiliye has been shot without any technicians and is edited by Kevin Das and has music by James Vasanthan.
