Amid lockdown, a Kerala man who was provided accommodation by his childhood friend eloped with the latter's wife.
Identified as Munnar native, the man was returning home when the lockdown was imposed. As he got stranded at Moovattupuzha, Kerala, he enquired his family members and got the contact of his childhood friend who is a resident there. The friend warmly welcomed him to his house and the Munnar native spent the lockdown days at their residence. Soon, love blossomed between the Munnar native and the friend's wife, and so he continued to stay there even after the lockdown norms were eased.
Growing suspicious, the Muvattupuzha man checked his wife's phone and was shocked to see some private pictures of his wife with the Munnar native. The married couple ended up in a huge fight, following which the Munna native and the lady eloped in an auto.
After the husband filed a Police complaint, the officials contacted the auto driver. The duo returned home after police threatened legal action against them under the Juvenile Justice Act. Due to the legal issue, the woman agreed to go back with her husband who decided to accept her.
However, a few days later, she again eloped with the Munnar native, this time she took her children along. Also, this time, she eloped in the car bought by her husband in her name and she also took her jewellery.
When the police intensified the investigation based on the complaint of the woman's husband, the duo along with the children presented themselves before the police in Muvattupuzha. As the husband also has rights to his children, the woman, and her lover came to the station and handed over the two children to her husband and left with her lover.
