It's known that LJP founder and Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan died earlier this month. A video in which his son and parliamentarian Chirag Paswan is seen rehearsing in front of his father's portrait has surfaced on the Internet. It emerged just a day before the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections.
In the video, the 37-year-old politician, who aspires to become the Chief Minister of Bihar one day, is seen rehearsing a mourning message. It's said that the video was shot just a day after his father's death.
Someone in the room seems to have secret shot the rehearsal, in which Chirag is heard saying that people have different textures of hair. He is seen indulging in some light-veined humour, too.
“You people will do the cut and edit part. I will include a line about our candidates (in the video),” PTI has quoted Chirag as saying.
The video has turned controversial, with several opposition leaders suggesting that Chirag faked sadness after his father's death. Others pointed out that he comes with a Bollywood background and so, the fakery is only to be expected.
