Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' is all set to hit the screens tomorrow on a humongous number of theaters across the globe. Special premiere shows for the film will beging from this evening in Singapore, Malaysia and other countries.

Now its time to have a look at the release schedule of other biggies. The next biggie to biggie to hit the screens after 'Theri' will be actor Suriya's mega budget sci-fi flick '24' The music album of A.R.Rahman and trailer of this film released a couple of days back and they have placed the Vikram Kumar directed flick on the top of the 'most expected' list of movie buffs.

Now we learn that '24' will definitely hit the screens in the month of May. The tentative date being speculated is May 6 but we will have to wait for an official confirmation.

After '24' the 'Kabali' fever will grip the tinsel town. Superstar Rajinikanth himself has confirmed the underworld flick directed by Pa.Ranjith may hit the screens in the last week of May or the first week of June.

Chiyaan Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Shibu Thameens is expected to hit the screens in July.

Then the third installment of the blockbuster 'Singam' series 'S3' starring Suriya as Durai Singam IPS is expected to hit the screens in September 2016 as the film's director Hari has confirmed that the film will release in four or five months from now. Failing which the film will definitely make it to the screens for Diwali 2016.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay has started shooting for his 60th film on Monday, a few days before the release of his 59th film 'Theri'. This film directed by Bharathan is expected to hit the screens as a Pongal treat in January 2017.

Thala Ajith who is on a brief sabbatical after undergoing a surgery in November last will be back to business from May this year. He will start shooting for his 57th film to be directed by the 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam' director Siva which will be produced by Satya Jyothi Films banner. 'Thala 57' is expected to hit the screens on April 14, 2017 as Tamil New Year treat, exactly one year after the release of 'Theri'.

With this, the Tamil Year starting tomorrow will have a full round of biggies starting with Ilayathalapathy's 'Theri' and ending with Thala's 57th film.
