After a grand India premiere and with the awaiting results of Oscars this year, 'Lion' has most certainly become one of the most awaited films to soon hit the Indian box office on 24th February. The film starring Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman, also has an incredible performance by a then 5 year old boy, Sunny Pawar who's risen to global fame owing to his impeccable acting skills as the young Saroo in the film. Now as we inch closer to the release of the film, a brand new India poster has been released featuring Sunny Pawar who plays young Saroo.

'Lion' directed by Garth Davis is a true story based on a book penned by Saroo Brierley on his real life story - all of 5 years old Saroo was born as Sheru Munshi Khan to a single mother in Madhya Pradesh. On an unfortunate day he loses his way from home and locked inside a train he reached Kolkata. Later adopted by an Australian family, he starts a new life only to find himself in a journey 25 years later to find his way home.

In a recent quote, Garth said about Sunny, "To get a then 5 year old Sunny to play the part was a tough task. But we managed to make him find his way. He became an actor while he was filming for the movie. I had set a sign language for him to understand if he was doing a good or an okay job. It was incredible to see him take on such heavily emotional scenes being a non trained actors and then transform them into such beautiful emotions on camera".
