Linguswamy likely to rope in Samantha

Samantha may have missed the opportunity to work with Shankar and Mani Ratnam, but she is on a roll in her own right. Our sources say that Linguswamy is considering her name for his next film.

The filmmaker, whose last venture was 'Vettai', is planning to team up with Suriya for his next project, it is learnt.

The yet to be titled flick will be produced by Lingusamy's own banner Tirupathi Brothers. It will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah, say sources.

Thus Samantha, who has become all the more endearing to the Tamil audience after Rajamouli’s Eecha, is teaming up with a top star of Kollywood. Now that the actress is getting well from skin ailment, she is on a signing spree.

Lingusamy is currently busy with the script work. He will make an official announcement only after he is done with the script, sources add.
