Director Lingusamy, who had made his debut with the family entertainer Anandam, went on to direct commercially successful movies like Run, Sandakozhi, Vettai, Paiyaa etc besides also collaborating with top heroes in Ji, Bheema, Anjaan.

Having last directed Sandakozhi 2, the sequel to his 2005 blockbuster Sandakozhi, now Lingusamy is all set to direct his next movie, this time a Telugu - Tamil bilingual which will have top Tollywood star Ram pothineni playing the lead.

This yet to be titled movie is produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen Srinivasaa Chitturi, and will go on floors soon. Previously, Lingusamy has tasted success in Tollywood with the dubbed versions of movies Paiyaa and Sandakozhi.
