Actor Vishal and director Lingusamy teamed up to deliver the huge blockbuster 'Sandakozhi' back in 2005. The film established Vishal as an action hero. Now they have teamed up for its sequel and the film 'Sandakozhi 2' is all set to hit the screens on October 18, 2018 for the Aayudha Pooja festival weekend.

Days ahead of the film's release Lingusamy opened up about the possibility of the third installment of 'Sandakozhi'. The filmmaker has said he will definitely team up with Vishal for the third time and it will be for 'Sandakozhi 3'. He said e does not want to make any other film with Vishal but for 'Sandakozhi' franchise. He also said while there was 13 years gap between 'Sandakozhi' and 'Sandakozhi 2' the works on 'Sandakozhi 3' will begin within six months after the release of 'Sandakozhi 2'.

'Sandakozhi 2' stars Vishal, Keerthy Suresh, Rajkiran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and many others. Yuvan Shankar Raja has provided the music score.
