Director Lingusamy, the man behind several superhit movies like Aanandam, Run, Sandakozhi, Paiya etc, has been waiting to score a blockbuster, as his last few directorial ventures like Suriya starrer Anjaan and the recently released sequel of Sandakozhi, Sandakozhi 2, did not perform well at the box office.

Besides, the director's Thirupathi Brothers banner also had trouble due to the failure of past production ventures like Uththama Villain, and their productions like Idam Porul Yeval are still waiting for a release without any indication. Now, the director is all set to begin his next venture.

The latest news making rounds is that, director Lingusamy's next movie will have him joining hands with actor/director Raghava Lawrence and that this movie will be an action mass entertainer. Raghava Lawrence had started the year with the blockbuster result of Kanchana 3, and an official announcement on this new movie will be out soon.
