Ram Charan has been a proponent of the globalization of cinema of late. At a time when pan-Indianization of Indian cinema is being led by the likes of SS Rajamouli, the Mega Power Star is celebrating how the spirit of 'unity in diversity' is percolating down to the world of entertainment.
"Our cultures are so different from State to State, region to region. The beauty is there is unity amid diversity. That spirit has seeped into our movies. Today, Rajamouli is trying to blur the lines and make it the 'Indian film industry'. There is an exchange of talents between different film industries," the 'RRR' actor told Sam Fragoso of Talk Easy in a 50-minute podcast.
The 'Rangasthalam' actor further said that 'RRR' has been widely accepted in many countries. "I want to know the perspective of foreigners and how they view our film so that I can take home the message," he added.
He also revealed that he undertakes religious rituals (read deekshas) in order to become disciplined and stay grounded.
