Lilly's ambitions are every girl's: Vijay Deverakonda

The pre-release event of 'Dear Comrade' was held in Hyderabad on Friday evening. The event, billed as a music festival, saw Vijay Deverakonda entertaining the audience with gusto.
Speaking on the occasion, the 'Rowdy' star said, Not every boy may be a Bobby (the name of Deverakonda's character in the film), but there is a Lilly in every girl (Lilly is played by Rashmika Mandanna). Lilly's ambitions, travails are every girl's. Our fight is our own. Each one of us has to overcome fears and emerge victorious. There was a time when I would have doubts whether I can become an actor. I want you all to fight and do what you want.
I feel extremely loved. All I can do is this - plan shows for you, dance for you, revel in your enjoyment. I hope you all had a great night, VD signed off.
The film, starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, will release on July 26.
