Arjun Tendulkar, described often as batting icon Sachin Tendulkar's son, was out for a duck in his debut match. He was playing his first Youth Test match against the Sri Lankan U-19 team in Colombo.
Bowler Shashika Dulshan dismissed the18-year-old Arjun after the latter was done with 11 balls. He couldn't score a single run in those deliveries.
An all-rounder, Arjun shares a coincidence with his legendary father. Sachin, too, was dismissed for zero runs in his One Day International debut in 1989. He too had played with a South Asian nation, much like his son did in 2018 - it's Pakistan.
