Last year, after the release of 'Jai Lava Kusa' and 'Duvvada Jagannadham', NTR and Allu Arjun, respectively, had directly/indirectly slammed film critics. If the Nandamuri actor described critics as 'Dari lo poye danayallu', Bunny said that emotions can't be rated.
It's now the turn of Tharun Bhascker, one of the most promising directors to have come out of Tollywood this decade, to hit out at critics. A day after the release of 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi', he remarked that he doesn't know what satisfies some websites. "It's too big a price," he noted.
This comment has brought into focus an old Insta post of the 'Pelli Choopulu' director. He had once written that reviewers shouldn't be amateurish and that they should do a film appreciation course to be eligible to review movies. "Their knowledge about screenplay writing, structure, and other aspects of filmmaking is ZERO," the National Award-winner had said.
With his comments, the young director has irked film critics. Said one RK, "Film appreciation course aaa?! Prathi vadiki idoka fashion aipoindi cinema baledu ante reviewers are not qualified. Ade cinema bagundi ani reviews rasinappudu em anipinchaleda Oxford lo appreciation course lu chesi ochesera enti appudu?"
