'Liger' up for streaming on Disney + Hotstar

'Liger' hit the screens on August 25 in multiple languages. The Vijay Deverakonda-Puri Jagannadh film, which also featured Ananya Panday, Chunky Panday, Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Vish and Mike Tyson, is up for OTT streaming.
It is learned that Disney + Hotstar is going to stream the action drama from September 22 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada (the Hindi version has a different arrangement).
What is the film about? Liger (Vijay Deverakonda) is a born fighter. His mother Balamani (Ramya Krishna) is a single parent who wants her son to become a national champion. Under the guidance of a know-all guru (Ronit Roy) in Mumbai, Liger trains to become a champion. But then, his budding love affair with Taniya (Ananya Panday) goes for a toss because of Sanju (Vish), her brother. A new set of characters (mainly played by Chunky Panday and Mike Tyson) enter the screen as the story shifts to Las Vegas.
Vijay, meanwhile, is doing 'Kushi'. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, its heroine is Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actor was recently seen at an awards function in Bengaluru.
