At a time when the lyrical video of 'Akdi Pakdi' has clocked more than 30 million views across different versions, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh are gearing up for the release of the trailer of 'Liger'. On Saturday, the date was announced and it is July 21.

"INDIA! MASS on - July 21st. ACTION on - July 21st. ENTERTAINMENT on -July 21st. #LigerTrailer on July 21st. Telugu. Hindi. Tamil. Kannada. Malayalam (sic)," tweeted the hero of the movie. The film releases on August 25.

A poster in which multiple MMA fighters are seen trying to fight the titular character was released on the occasion. The male lead is at the centre, confidently attempting to dodge their kicks and punches.

The trailer will essentially bring out the characterizations of Vijay and Mike Tyson's characters.

Also featuring Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu, the film is a pan-India release. Kecha has choreographed the action blocks. Produced by PJ, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, the film has cinematography by Vishnu Sarma. Jonny Shaik Basha and Junaid Siddiqui have worked on the movie.
