"Apparently its another wave Storm. Shoots cancelled. Back to us just chilling at home," tweeted actor Vijay Deverakonda, taking to Twitter on Friday. The shoot of 'Liger' has been called off in view of the increasing number of covid-19 cases.
Explaining the stance of the makers, producer Charmme Kaur wrote that Covid cases are rising immensely and therefore they did not want to risk the movie's cast and crew’s health.
Since the actioner, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is slated for a theatrical release only on August 25, the team has plenty of time to shoot the movie and complete its post-production works.
The legendary Mike Tyson, Ramya Krishna and others have main roles. The film will hit the screens in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, 'Liger' also features Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu. Its stunts are by Kecha and cinematography is by Vishnu Sarma.
Apparently its another wave Storm.
