With 'Liger' scheduled to hit the screens on August 25, its musical promotions have been kicked off today. The makers today were proud to announce that the song 'Akdi Pakdi' from the pan-India flick will be dropped on July 11. Before this, a promo will be out on the 8th of this month.

Director Puri Jagannadh has described the number as a party song. Produced on a glitzy scale by Karan Johara and Charmme Kaur, the song is expected to feature foot-tapping steps from Vijay and Ananya Pandey. The latter tries to learn the art of whistling from her hero, who is playing a boxer in the film.

A party song, it has the hero wearing a red blazer in it. His heroine is looking extra glamorous. The Lijo George-Dj Chetas composition has musical supervision by Sunil Kashyap and Azeem Dayani. Sung by Anurag Kulkarni and Ramya Behara, its lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar.

To be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, the film also features Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu.
