Life time achievement award to Ambi!

The Filmfare Life Time Achievement Award for this year goes to 200 plus films actor and politician Ambarish.

In a grand function in Chennai this award will be given to the most respected personality of Kannada cinema Ambarish in a glittering function today it is learnt straight from Ambarish.

Ambarish known as Dhanashoora Karna from ‘Nagarahavu’ his debut as villain with Dr Vishnuvardhana went on with his rebel image. His prolific acting in films like Shubamangala, Rangayanaki, Elu Suttina Kote, Antha, Mouna Raaga proved another face of his acting. Ambarish is the first Kannada cinema actor to hold the position of central minister. He was the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting. He has won and lost election battles. He is known as Shatrugna Sinha of Kannada cinema.

Married to actress Sumalatha, Ambarish has a tall and handsome looking son of Abhisekh. He is no doubt a hero material but time has not yet come for his entry to cinema field.

According to sources it is learnt that ‘Maleyali Jotheyali’ debut production of Golden star Ganesh has bagged the best film and Ganesh will be receiving the best actor award for his performance.
