Post One Direction`s hiatus, the former band mates (Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan) have scattered away to find their own direction and excel in their niche genres.

The first one to release the single was Niall Horan, with This Town followed by Slow Hands. Then, Louis Tomlinson introduced his style of music with his hit single Just Hold On (performed the song live as a tribute to his Mother, who passed away while battling cancer). Harry Styles turn came and his single Sign Of The Times was a great hit. It ranked No. 1 in 84 countries in iTunes. The last one to release his share of music was Liam Payne. But, boy did he get criticism for his song Strip That Down.

Directioners nevertheless supported him even though many pointed out that this was not what was expected of Liam Payne. “Given his vocal dynamics and his versatility, he could sing any song beautifully. Don`t understand why he chose to rap” said many fans.

Liam Gallagher recently spoke about Harry Styles` Sign of the Times saying “I can spot a fake a mile off and Harry Styles seems like he wants to bring real music and change his direction”

He then alludes about Liam Payne`s music saying “At least he`s not gone rap like the other one. How did that happen? Did they flip a coin and he said, Listen, I`m doing the rap one`”

If you know ANYTHING about One Direction fandom, then you must know that this fandom should not be messed with. That`s what Gallagher remarks as well.

He recently said, “I may look stupid but wouldn`t dare get on the wrong side of One Direction fans.” As the Directioners sent a lot of hate to the former Oasis singer following his reprimanding comments about Harry Styles` music.

He said “People of my age have let themselves go, they`re fat, balding idiots with fading tattoos. They sit in their garage and write shite like Sign of the Times` for Harry Styles. Which, quite frankly, my cat could have written in about 10 minutes!” about Harry Styles.

He continues “I don`t mind the song, my wife was falling over herself, Have you heard Harry Styles` new song? It`s like Prince`, I was like, Without even hearing it, I can assure you it`s not like Prince!”.

Following his back and forth of liking and disliking of Ex-One Direction stars, fans seem to identify that Gallagher is just jealous that his music is not as popular like it used to be and he`s just saying stuff to promote himself and his upcoming album.

Regardless, Liam Payne is getting a lot of criticism for his single Strip That Down. Not just from noted celebs and singers but from his very fans.
