2011 will see Bhushan Kumar release two of his films in partnership mode - Akshay Kumar starrer 'Patiala House' and Salman Khan starrer 'Ready'. Meanwhile, he also plans to kick start newer films in months to come though yet again, the partnership model will remain intact.

When questioned why he (as a producer) feels that profit sharing mode is the best way to go forward for majority of films that involve a mega crore budget, Bhushan goes down to narrate a few recent instances of some major biggies falling flat on their faces.

"If we see some of the latest films that have released, they haven't been able to generate even 2-3 crores net total", he argues, "Something like that can happen to any film and unless we get the formula right, there is always a chance of this being repeated."

Detailing his reasoning further, Bhushan adds, "This is the reason why artists should work with select producers who market their films well also. Also, getting into partnership mode means that the risk gets divided. Only when there is a collaborative approach like this would things start getting better in Bollywood."

Well, here is one producer who is sure about the strategy going forward for the films he puts his stake on. Coming months would well define if other film makers follow suit as well.
