S V Krishna Reddy always gets the best out of his music directors. Leeta Manasula, starring Srikkanth, Gopika and Kalyani, also belong to the same category as Keeravani has come up with some fancy-free uncomplicated numbers.
1. Toli Toli Korika
Madhushree is a singer whose talent came to the fore through A R Rehman's Yuva. This song further underscores that point. Her vocal chords are in fine forms as she just sails across wafting you on a pleasant journey on the waters of melody. On the other hand, Tippu who is a robust singer, gives another full-throated blast. Orchestration is par.
2. Kanula Kela
Music directors as singers are generally bit loud or grating but not Keeravani in this song. He and Bindu combine smoothly and vocalize some sensitive lyrics of Bhuvanachandra. But if you are looking for surprises in terms of singing or orchestration, then this is not thesong. But on its own, the number is good.
3. Kur Ku Kooru
Shreya Ghosal is perhaps the busiest singer in South these days. When you listen to Kur Ku Kooru, you understand why. Her vocal chords are so flexible that it can even make ordinary words musical.
4. Leta Manasaa
Suneetha is in her elements singing this song in a classical vein. She rises to the occasion and lends the right touches at the right places.
5. Aanaati Mana Chelimi
Keeravani the singer lets down the music director as he combines with Sadhana Sargam to come up with this average number. Sadhana, however, more than compensates for her partner's obvious unease.
6. Tannana Tannana
Here the lyricist Keeravani is no great form as he comes up with predictable lines. But Chitra (trust her to do so) shows that for nothing she has been the best singer in India for now nearly a decade. She and Keeravani (as a singer) vocalize smoothly and spiritedly. On the whole, Keeravani, despite some avoidable mistakes, has delivered the winning numbers.
