Leopard cub sleeps next to children

In a bizarre instance, a leopard cub was found napping next to two children in a tribal village in Nashik district. Manisha Bandre who has the habit of opening her door early in the morning was aghast to find that a small cub was found napping between her two children under the mosquito net.
The mother who was terrified managed to keep her cool even as she quietly pulled her children out of the net, eventually out of the hut and finally alerted the villagers. The forest officers speculate that the three month old cub should have entered the hut in the early hours when the sun was yet to come out. The officials captured the cub and released into the forest as is the procedure.
