The Oscar award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are coming together for the apocalyptic dark comedy film "Don't Look Up" directed by the Oscar-winning director Adam McKay. This movie arrives on December 24 on Netflix. This is one of the biggest multi-starrer flicks of all time.

The casting coup of Don't Look Up includes Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Ariana Grande, Matthew Perry, Chris Evans, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Scott Mescudi and Melanie Lynskey. Recently, Netflix debuted the main trailer of the film online.

The video featured Leo and Jenifer as two low-level astronomers who are trying to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy the whole planet. The fun element kicks in when the government or the media does not consider their concern seriously. The one-liners in the 3-minute-long trailer work fantastically and get us excited for "Don't Look Up".

Don't Look Up is a satirical take on the indifference of the general population and political leaders towards an impending doomsday. The movie will be coming to select theatres on December 10 for a limited run so that it could be submitted to the Academy Awards before the Christmas premiere on Netflix.
