Maverick filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is all set to direct his ninth film which is reportedly set in the late 1960s with the notorious Manson murders as the backdrop. Charles Manson a cult leader and his followers committed random murders in California including actress Sharon Tate.
Leonardo DiCaprio has been confirmed for the lead role in the as yet untitled film and will be reuniting with Tarantino after 'Django - Unchained'. He is said to play the character of a Television actor aspiring to make it on the big screen. Other A-list stars who are being eyed for the project include Tom Cruise, Al Pacino and Margot Robbie.
