Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' for the year 2023 is eagerly awaited. With the film getting ready for a grand release, there is one after another series of controversies for the team in Tamil Nadu.

The film recently set back its release after a restraining order issued by a City Civil Court in Hyderabad to the effect that it should not be released until October 20 following a case filed by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments over the reuse of the name 'Leo' in Telugu.

Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' would release in many languages, which comprise Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, on October 19.

A City Civil Court in Hyderabad heard a petition filed by producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments on October 17 and responded with an injunction order restraining the release of 'Leo' in Telugu until October 20.

Placing things in perspective, Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments will soon be arranging a press meeting to explain the same post at 3 p.m.

'Leo', as known for its directorial by Lokesh Kanagaraj, happens to be a power-packed action thriller. It is produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy, and the screenplay is a collective effort of Lokesh, Rathna Kumar, and Deeraj Vaidy.

The film stars a supporting cast of Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, and Arjun Sarja, along with Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand, where Thalapathy Vijay plays the lead role. The film waiting to roll into theatres in 2023 also has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Philomin Raj.
