The shooting of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' which started full fledged in early February is going on nonstop under zero degrees temperature in Kashmir. So far portions involving Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mysskin have been completed and they returned home. Next Action King Arjun and Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt will join the sets for more intense action with Thalapathy Vijay.
For the current portions Lokesh and cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa have brought in the V-RAPTOR XL - RED Camera capable of shooting 6K and 8K resolution visuals. The rupees forty lakhs priced latest beast is used in big Hollywood production and is coming to Tamil cinema for the first time. The camera comes with Multi-Format Censor Harnessed.

A video of the 'Leo' team setting up the V-RAPTOR XL - RED in the snowy backdrop of Kashmir for the shoot has gone viral on the internet. It is said that the current schedule is a very important one and will be wrapped up by the end of the month. The next schedule will commence in mid April in Chennai and the entire movie will be completed in a couple of months after that.
'Leo' has music by Anirudh and is produced on a grand scale by Lalit Kumar. The film stars Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sandy, Mathew Thomas and others.
