Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is being shot continuously for the past one and a half months in Kashmir for the past few weeks in the extreme cold conditions. The gangster saga is already featuring many famous personalities as villain namely Sanjay Dutt, Arjun,Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Meanwhile after a month long shoot both Mysskin and GVM completed their portions and returned home while Action King Arjun joined the 'Leo' team. Earlier today it was reported that Sanjay Dutt joined for his portions and a video of him in stunning style captured at the airport went viral.
Now the latest news is that veteran South Indian actor Babu Antony has flown to Kashmir to shoot for 'Leo' and it is said that he has an important character in the film. The Mollywood actor during the 80s played terrifying villain roles in Sathyaraj's 'Poovizhi Vasalile' and 'Makkal En Pakkam' , Kamal Haasan's 'Per Sollum Pillai', Mani Ratnam's 'Anjali' and Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Naatukku Oru Nallavan'. He recently appeared as the Rashtrakuta King in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'.
However to the modern viewers Babu Antony is more famous for playing Trisha's father in Simbu's 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Incidentally since Trisha is the heroine of 'Leo' it will be interesting to see if they have any combination scenes in the film.
