Thalapathy Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi lit up the screens as protagonist and antagonist in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Master' released in 2021. The magical trio pulled back crowds to theaters after the film industry was crippled by the coronavirus pandemic.
Currently Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj have reunited for 'Leo' which is being shot in Kashmir with the ensemble cast that includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon. Ever since this 67th film of Vijay was officially announced speculation have been rife that it would be a part of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe.
In simple terms the filmmaker's 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram' are strongly connected with Karthi the hero of the former making an offscreen appearance in two crucial scenes in the latter. Now there is huge expectations from fans that 'Leo' is also a part of LCU and the big stars such as Kamal Haasan as Vikram, Suriya as Rolex and Karthi as Dilli might share screenspace with Thalapathy Vijay.
Meanwhile there is a strong possibility of Vijay Sethupathi appearing in 'Leo' as Santhanam from 'Vikram'. Rathnakumar one of the writers of the film has shared his latest photo in which he is seen holding a single lens from a broken cooling glass and captioned it "Never say die". The lens in question is very similar to the one worn by Vijay Sethupathi in 'Vikram' which will be broken in the famous wedding reception fight. The busy star will stylishly push it out before bashing his enemies after regaining his strength through a drug.
If this happens to be true then Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi will once again create their magic on screen. Now the big question remains whether this time they will be on the same side or pitted against each other. Only Lokesh can tell.
