Thalapathy Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's mega gangster flick 'Leo' is growing bigger day by day. We just brought the new to you that to Malayalam actor Joju George joined the cast in the current Chennai schedule that will go on for another month or so.
Fans meanwhile cant stop speculating whether 'Leo' is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe meaning if stars and themes of the filmmaker's 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram' will be part of the film. Well if we go by the latest social media post of the film's art director Sathees Kumar then Kamal may soon come on board the film in his 'Vikram' avatar.
Satheeskumar has shared a photo of a golden eagle and has written on it "The Eagle Is Comin" which is the theme song that Anriudh Ravichander scored for Kamal Haasan in 'Vikram'. LCU fans are commenting "Code Word Accepted". We will have to wait and see how this turns out.
Kamal is currently shooting for Shankar's Indian 2' in South Africa and will return home only by month end. If at all he is on board, Lokesh can realistically shoot his portions only in May or June which may not be feasible considering the geup change. At the same time we have to remember that Rathnakumar the writer of 'Leo' also hinted about Vijay Sethuapthi's participation in 'Leo'. This may have materialised as there are reports that the Makkal Selvan has allotted three days call sheet for the film to act as well as do voiceover. Similarly Kamal too might easily switch to the 'Vikram' look as he already has grown a beard for playing Senapathy in 'Indian 2'
'Leo' produced by Seven Screen Studios with music by Anirudh stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, kathir, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, Babu Antony, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sandy, Agent Tina Vasanthi, George Mariyan, Maya S Krishnan and others. The film is slated for release on October 19th this year.
