We already updated you that Ajith Kumar's sister-in-law Shamlee hosted an art exhibition in Chennai. It is the actress' solo art show called 'SHE,' that was inaugurated recently at Focus Art Gallery. It had filmmaker Mani Ratnam and music director A.R. Rahman gracing the occasion.
Actress Shamlee, who won our hearts with her innocuously charismatic screen presence as a child artist and leading actress, has never stopped capturing our interests with her artistic elegance. Having won the hearts of audiences and critics with her adept performances in more than 65 movies, and winning the greatest honours like Indian National Awards, Tamil, Telugu, and Karnataka State Awards, and many accolades, the actress is now hitting headlines for her accomplishments in the field of art.
While her previous achievements including the Art shows across India and Dubai including Chitra kala parishad - Diverse Perceptions, Crossroads at Venba Gallery, Chitra Kala Parishad at southern trends, Bengaluru International Centre Southern Trends World Art Dubai at World trade centre Dubai, she has now exhibited her yet another fabulous league of artworks titled 'She' in Chennai that was inaugurated recently. The iconic emblems of the Indian Film Industry – Filmmaker Mani Ratnam and Music Director AR Rahman made their presence and congratulated Shamlee on her greatest works.
Owning a reputed academic graduation degree in Visual Communication and a Diploma in Visual Arts from Lasalle College of Arts in Singapore, she pursued the profession of art with complete focus and dedication. Embellishing her aspirations was her ability to find the proper guidance and training from her mentor artist Mr AV Ilango in the last six years.
Not to miss the fact of Shamlee pursued creative training at the Paris College of Arts, Chinese ink in Singapore, and specialized in Glass painting at Accademia Riaci, Florence. "SHE" is exhibited at Focus Art Gallery, No.11, Kasturi Estate 2nd Street, next to Ashwini Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai. The Show will be open between 10 AM and 8 PM till June 30, 2023.
