'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' has impressed none other than the legendary director, K Raghavendra Rao. The 'Darsekendrudu' has given a thumbs-up to the Mega hero Varun Tej, the film's director and the remix song in it.
"What an amazing performance by VarunTej!! Loved his transformation into the character #GaddalakondaGanesh... You have made quite an entertainer, Harish Shankar! I am especially impressed by the recreation of #VelluvachiGodaramma song and think Pooja Hegde was splendid in it," Rao tweeted out.
The remix is from KRR's movie 'Devatha', which starred Sobhan Babu and the legendary Sridevi. Harish Shankar used it for 'GG' by making Varun Tej's character a die-hard fan of Sridevi. It has worked for the mass audience. It was a tough thing to remix it. Music director Mickey J Meyer took it up as a challenge.
The film, a remake of 'Jigarthanda', collected Rs 5.50 Cr (share) on Friday in the Telugu States.
