Govt of India announces huge honour for Legend SP Balasubrahmanyam!

Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam has been posthumously awarded India's second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan. The legend was one among the 119 people announced in today's list of Padma awardees.

SP Balasubrahmanyam, who has been mesmerizing people with his voice, had passed away on September 25 last year, after he had tested positive for Coronavirus and later his health deteriorated despite testing negative for the virus.

The veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam had recorded over 40,000 songs, and has won six National Film Awards. The Padma Vibhushan has been conferred to the legend for his contribution to art.
