When it is DSP, all music lovers look up to the album with expectations. When it is Balakrishna, the ruralites, especially, feel that they are in for unalloyed masala. A rare combination this, and the audio of 'Legend' lives up to the image the combo conjures up in one's mind.
With a range of singers, the album is complete with a range of songs as well.
The lyrics have that Boyapati Sreenu directorial touch.

He can wipe out hardships with his index finger. A walking justice, he is Che Guevara and Gandhi rolled into one. The first song of the album lives up to the bombastic feel of the title. The male voice is a big plus, while the instrumentation is a true DSP gift.
Tanjavuru
Artists: Sooraj Santhosh, MM Manasi
DSP enlivens his style of music with a Koti topping. This is a foot-tapping mass-y song and an apt number for Balakrishna. Sooraj Santosh and Manasi render their vocals in such a way as to endear the song and themselves to the front-benchers as well as the rest of the audience. The lyrics are entertaining.
Om Sarvani
Artist: MM Manasi
Although this melodious, devotional song is a welcome change in a big-ticket film music-directed by someone like DSP, the song has nothing more than sentimental value. With no novelty value, this song falls flat, as it gives a sense of deja vu.
Nee Kanti Choopullo
Artists: Vijay Yesudas, K. S. Chithra
DSP delivers the kind of song which fans want from Balakrishna. Nee Kanti Choopullo has meaningful lyrics and a tuneful quality of its own. Vijay Yesudas and Chithra breathe life into the song. The song does seem to be a rip-off of a song, but one overlooks it as DSP adds his midas touch with adeptness.
Lasku Tapa

DSP's terrific magic touch has just gotten better here. Lasku Tapa is a hummable song. Sagar and Malathi deliver a dekko. The lyrics are innovative with the female's feelings taking a new form.
Time Bomb
Artist: Narendra, Rati
This one is the least interesting song of the album. It's a let down as all that it has got are those stock features. Narendra and Rati have good vocals and they are the saving grace. The lyrics have nothing much going for them.
