Jagapathi Babu is quite happy that he has won the Best Villan Nandi for his performance in 'Legend'. Admist a controversy, he says that the film truly deserves the Nandis.
"The film has played for a good 3 years. This is very difficult to be repeated in history. 'Legend' truly deserves it (the awards). I am happy in every which way. I am happy for Balayya Babu who has won the Best Actor award, and the producers for winning the Best Film award," Jagapathi says.
"A good director will always identify the actor whom he wants to work with. Although I and RGV had been friends for years, it was in 'Gayam' that he cast me as he believed in me. In the same way, Boyapati believed that I could play the villain's role. Although I had doubts in my abilities and wondered if the audience will accept this good on-screen husband as the antagonist, Boyapati succeed in the end," the actor says.
