Universal Actor Kamal Haasan recently united with ace director Shankar for the sequel to their 1996 blockbuster 'Bharateeyudu' ('Indian'). Titled 'Indian 2', the project was launched amidst with fanfare in January. However, the movie, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal as the heroine, has since faced stubborn problems.

Initially, it was said that Shankar had not specified the film's budget to the producers. It was also claimed that Kamal had issues with the makeup and other issues. After talks that 'Indian-2' has been taken over by Reliance, recently a fresh rumour went out that that the movie will be resumed and produced by Lyca Productions itself.

The latest development is that Lyca has initiated an important discussion with Shankar. While it was said that there might be a legal notice against the '2.0' director, it's learned that the production house has not resorted to the legal route. They want to solve the issues amicably.
