Actor Atharva who had acted in Tamil last in 100 directed by Sam Anton, had recently made his debut in Telugu with the movie Gaddalakonda Ganesh, the remake of Jigarthanda where he played Siddharth's role. Now the actor is in news after a producer filed a complaint against him.

Producer Mathiyalagan of Etcetera entertainment has filed a police complaint against the actor at the Commissioner office in Chennai. Mathiyalagan has accused Atharvaa of cheating 6 crores rupees. Mathiyalagan had mentioned that he had got the rights of Semma Botha Aagathey produced by Atharvaa for 5.5 crores and had faced losses, and Atharva had agreed to do another film.

However Atharvaa did not co-operate for the shooting of this new movie named Minnal Veeran directed by Saravanan who had directed Maragadha Nanayam, and hence Mathiyalagan has complained requesting legal action on the actor to get the money refunded.
