Legal action against actor for spreading false news on COVID 19 situation in Chennai

Famous television personality and stage and screen actor T.V. Varadarajan had released a video in the morning stating that the COVID 19 situation in Chennai is very bad and a celebrity was refused treatment in hospitals citing that there were no beds. He requested the people to be careful, warning that no treatment will be given and its better to be stay at home and not take risks of going out. Read: Shocking Video! C. Vijayabaskar the health minister of Tamil Nadu has stated that Varadarajan has propagated false news that there are no beds available in Chennai and legal action will be taken against him. The minister has assured that there are 5000 vacant beds in Chennai along in government hospitals.
