It was always on the cards. And it now looks imminent.

Rumors have it that cinematographer turned director turned actor Thangar Bachchan has decided to distribute Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy himself.

Following controversies over his scathing attack on actresses, Thangar's image seems to have taken a beating. Distributors are apprehensive to take up the movie.

Though he is respected cinematographer in the industry with his catching poignancy, his loose talks seems to have done him the damage.

So the film will be distributed by Thangar himself and sources close to the director say,'it would be released on 23 September'.
