Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan is currently in police custody. It's known that the relations between her and the cricketer haven't been good.

On Sunday, Hasin went to Amroha in Uttar Pradesh to live with her in-laws. The in-laws asked her to leave the place with immediate effect. The woman refused and went inside a room and locked up herself and her child.

Left with no option, Shami's parents called up the police. When the police arrived, they tried to bring peace between Hasin and her in-laws. But they failed to do so.

When Hasin persisted with her behaviour, the police decided to take her into custody. Following her arrest, she said that she wants to live with her husband but his parents are not letting that happen.

At the time of writing this news, Shami hasn't made any statement. He is busy playing the IPL.
