Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' is all set to set the screens on fire as the biggie is releasing worldwide on April 13. Meanwhile, we already updated you that Vijay's next Tamil-Telugu bilingual project, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, will start rolling on the floors from April first week.

Tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 66', the venture is set to be produced by the top Telugu producer Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The highly celebrated star of Tamil cinema is joining hands with the renowned director for his first direct Telugu film. It is being reported that S Thaman will be scoring music for the upcoming flick.

On the other hand, there were several alleged speculations regarding the cast of the film roaming on the internet. Earlier, there was a buzz that Rashmika Mandanna has signed to play the female lead role but according to the latest sources, Tamanna is most likely to be the leading lady of 'Thalapathy 66'. It is worth mentioning that she has paired up with Vijay previously in his 50th film, 'Sura'.

Parallel reports suggest that veteran actor Prakash Raj will be a part of the film with the Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi playing a negative role. Some unconfirmed reports suggest that Mehreen Pirzada ('Pattas' fame) is playing the love interest of Vivek Oberoi in the movie. The makers are expected to officially announce the star cast and crew of Thalapathy 66 with a major update, very soon.
