Leader: AVM's illustrious offering

AVM vari Leader is coming before us. A mass leader, he will ask for our vote in December. Shekar Kammula, the maker of 'Anand', 'Godavari', 'Happy Days', a name to reckon with in Telugu film, has written and directed the film. Known as a director who can dabble in different genres, his characters are unique and his treatment sophisticated.

Recently, there was a news that Daggubati Rana (son of D Suresh of Suresh Productions), who is debuting with this one, is playing a Chief Minister. We may be seeing shades of Kammula's idealistic character of Sumanth in 'Godavari', who spoke about serving the society by joining politics, in Leader.

A special teaser promos and wallpapers CD released to the media has Rana's giant figure superimposed against teeming masses.

Mickey J Meyer, who scored terrific tunes for the youth-oriented revolutionary flick Yuvasena many years back, and teamed up with Kammula for Happy Days, is the music director.

Veturi's lyrics, we guess, will be brimming with the power of youthfulness and revolution. Let us eagerly wait for the audio launch in the month end.
