Raghava Lawrence's mega directorial Bollywood film 'Laxmmi Bomb' starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Amitabh Bachchan is set to stream on Disney plus Hotstar from November 9th. The trailer of this Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster 'Kanchana' has gained wide appreciation from celebrities and fans alike upping the expectation meter for the film.
Meanwhile due to political pressure the title of the film has been changed from 'Laxmmi Bomb' to just 'Laxmmi'. According to Bollywood media the Shri Rajput Karni Sena sent a legal notice to the producers of the film stating that the title is derogatory and offensive and deliberately meant to degrade the dignity of the goddess Laxmi.
Mukeh Khanna the actor who played 'Shaktiman' also objected to it stating that can a film be named as 'Allah Bomb' or 'Badmash Jesus' then why should one be made as 'Laxxmi Bomb."
Lawrence is celebrating his forty fifth birthday today and has announced a new movie 'Rudran' produced by Five Star Kathiresan with music score by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
