A particular film critic has been slammed for trashing 'Vivegam', the mega-budgeted Tamil-language film. In a first, a critic has been named and criticized for being unfair towards a film.

On his part, Raghava Lawrence has said that the critic is too one-sided. "There are so many scenes which are really impressive, but he didn`t say a single word about the hard work and crew. I request the Cine industry Union people and other concerned members to take prompt action towards Blue Sattai Maaran (name of the reviewer), who is not an eligible person to criticize the movies in cine industry," Lawrence has said in a Facebook post.

In a related development, GV Prakash Kumar has urged the critics to refrain from posting reviews for the first 3-4 days post a film's release.
