Lavanya Tripathi is a passionate practitioner of sustainable living. In an interview with Model, fashion designer, entrepreneur, influencer, and fitness model Shilpa Reddy, the 'Happy Birthday' actress talked about her approach in life to live sustainably and healthily.
"I am a very desi person. I prefer fresh ingredients in my foods, and we have a kitchen garden at home. My mother loves gardening," she says, adding that she is a veggie. Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, the 'Andala Rakshasi' actress' diet has also been enriched by unique North Indian flavours like Sattu.
As reported last year, the actress is planning to set up an eco-friendly cafe at her farmland in Chamasari, a hilltop near Mussoorie. "It's a tranquil place. My family members are welcoming of Nature, and we love to have guests over. We have used all resources around to make the cafe as much in sync with Nature as possible," she says.
As a practitioner of Yoga, Lavanya believes that it is holistic. "Yoga starts healing you from your mind. If you have got 'Pitta Dosha', the entire body system goes haywire. Yoga resolves it. If you workout in a gym, you are approaching the problem only at a physiological level," she observes, jocularly adding that Shavasana is her favourite Yogic posture.
