Director Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali has smashed all the existing records of Tollywood and emerged as the highest grossing film of all time. The expectations on the second part Baahubali: The Conclusion reached sky high and the audiences are waiting with bated breath to watch the sequel. Days after the reports of Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit was approached for a role in the film, here goes another interesting update doing the rounds.
Buzz is that Lavanya Tripathi, who is a roll with Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, is being considered to play a crucial role in Baahubali 2. The actress has been approached to play Rana Daggubati's wife, says reports. The first part of the film didn't reveal the queen and has only shown Bhallaladeva, his son Bhadra played by Adivi Sesh. The sequel of Baahubali is going to have the wife of Bhallaladeva and the makers are planning to shoot those scenes in the first schedule. Interestingly, Rajamouli holds the credit for introducing Lavanya Tripathi to Tollywood with Andhala Rakshasi. The director is one of the producers of the film.
Insiders say Rajamouli felt that Lavanya would do justice to the role and has offered it. However, an official announcement is awaited. Currently, Lavanya Tripathi is awaiting the releases of Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi and Soggade Chinni Naayana wherein she was paired opposite Nagarjuna.
