Andala Rakshasi can well go the whole hog. By this we mean that she is prepared to don a full-on glamorous role, unlike the ones she has done so far in films like Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. We are talking about Lavanya Tripathi, who so far has been seen in traditional-looking roles, by and large, with the sole exception of Doosukeltha (that too, only to a certain extent).

The talented actress, who has played a married woman's role opposite Nagarjuna in Soggade Chinni Nayana, will be seen as a college student in the up-and-coming Srirastu Subhamastu. Despite she proving her detractors wrong time and again, she, however, hasn't been cast in a film of a big star belonging to the current generation. A source close to the actress says, "Wonder what stops the bigger stars from casting her, especially when she has proven her mettle time and again".

Lavanya, hailing from Dehradun, has made Hyderabad her home. The actress also has a thoroughgoing understanding of fashion and its latest trends.
