Animation films are always a favourite of family audiences. In Hollywood animation films still hold their fort against big time regular films. But in India we don’t pay as much attention to animation films as we pay to films with popular actors. Even in the biggest Bollywood, animation films are a rare. The last time when Indian cinema had an animation film was with the Hindi film Roadside Romeo in 2008. In South India the genre is even rarer. In fact we don’t even remember when we had seen an animation film in Tamil last.

But now the production house Rayudu Vision Media Limited (RVML Animation) has reinvented the genre and has come up with their first full length 2D animated feature film ‘Lava Kusa – The Warrior Twins’ targeting all the people of ages 6-60. 'LAVA KUSA' is produced by Kanipakam Creations at a cost Rs.18 Crores.

‘Lava-Kusa’ is about the sons of legendry Lord Rama and will carve a niche amongst this generation as it turns more lights on warrior twins.

Truth, Honesty, Good Values, justice – these adjectives delineate these brothers, who’re embarking upon a deadly war to bring down the powerful kingdom. These sons are ardently initiated by the moral principles taught by their beloved mother Sita. Loaded with fun, adventure, action and emotions, the tale reaches the extreme of surprises when they have got to fight none other than their own father, Lord Rama.

This will also be the first animation film in India that will be releasing in four different languages simultaneously- English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The producers also have plans to release the movie in Bengali and other regional languages later.

The music of Lava-Kusa is composed by Late S. L Vaidyanathan. The film has five songs sung K. J Yesudas, Shankar Mahadevan, Chitra and Sadhana Sargam.

This family entertainer will be released in May during the summer holiday season. Don’t miss it. Don’t let your family miss it too.
