Collaborating with one of Chennai's favourite laugh factories, The Half Boiled Inc., Chennai's Club Crest, a fitness haven in Velachery's Phoenix Marketcity, is launching 'The Spotted Hyena,' an initiative that will get you to laugh until you cry.

“The idea with The Spotted Hyena is to create a space in Chennai for comedy and the performing arts, where artists can jam, trial new material, experiment with new formats, perform regularly, shoot and just constantly try and push the boundary. The Box at Club Crest provides the perfect ambience for an intimate performance where we can really have fun with content. It’s also a great opportunity to discover new talent, get more stage time and hone your craft as an artist. You can expect to find an interesting show every single weekend, ranging from stand up and improv to music and theatre” says Baggy, Co-Founder, Half Boiled Inc.

The Spotted Hyena, that will be launched on August 15, will begin with a 4-day stand-up comedy featuring some of India's favourite artists, including Kenny Sabastian, Sorabh Pant, Rahul Subramaniam, Naveen Richard and Chennai’s very own Alex, SA and Baggy.

“Since our launch last September, Club Crest has been consistently curating a number of unique events and performances for its audience. With the launch of the Spotted Hyena, Chennai can look forward to adding another exciting weekend entertainment destination with an impressive lineup and surprise visits by some of the most popular names in the industry,” says Nishka Choraria, Promoter, Club Crest.

Tickets start at Rs. 499 with Festival Passes starting from Rs.1600. Schedule and tickets on Book My Show.
