When this man won the coveted first prize for popular television show THE GREAT INDIAN LAUGHTER CHALLENGE a few months back, he would have thought that the world of comedy now belonged to him! Little must he have known that he would be relegated to playing a sidekick to another comedian in his very first Bollywood outing.

Sunil Pal, the winner of GREAT INDIAN LAUGHTER CHALLENGE, had a forgettable Bollywood debut recently as he played one of the 3-4 sidekicks to Johney Lever, who himself played a small time criminal in the film 'Phir Hera Pheri'. With barely a dialogue or two to utter, his role was nothing more than dozens of extras that one sees in a regular Bollywood film. There was some consolation for him in the form of a small appearance in the music video of 'Ae Meri Zohrajabeen', though there too he was in the far corner of the frame with not a single close shot of his!

Post PHP, Sunil Pal must certainly be playing all his cards close to his heart and waiting for the right opportunity to be a part of rather than being surrounded by a dozen odd established comic actors!
