The Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Kochadaiyaan' released in the year 2014 which was a pioneering effort by his daughter director Soundarya Rajinikanth in Indian cinema in animation. The film was produced by Media One Global who had procured loans from Bengaluru based AD Bureau and Latha Rajinikanth had signed as collateral for the amount.

AD Bureau had gone to court claiming that the loan amount was not paid back and the case is in the Supreme Court which had given time of three months in February 2018 to Media Global One or Latha Rajinikanth to pay back the dues. A further time was given by the court on July 3rd and since the amount was still not paid the judges have warned the defendants of severe action and have ordered them to make the payment on or before July 10th.
